Gingerbread Family Picnic

Bryce, Port, and Haynes

Gingerbread had their family picnic a few weeks ago.  We got to take all the kids to the Gingerbread playground eat a picnic and play.  Haynes was in heaven!  We had a great evening spending time with Port's friends and their families.

Rockin' Robin

Haynes, Ella and I went to Cochran's Music School Performance to watch our friend Meredith Moffitt and Preslee Love.  They both did a great job and looked absolutely adorable!  Haynes stood in the back screaming "Preslee Pink!"  She was definitely the cutest robin I've ever seen... We love you Press, God has big plans for you sweet girl!

SnOw CoNeS!

The snow cone stand is open!  I must admit this isn't our first stop, but we do love it!  The boys current favorite is Tiger's Blood (I think Kooper used to get this!)  We had a family night last night.  After having a picnic at the park, we went for snow cones!  Brian said, "I think this summer is going to be so much fun!"  Then said, "I think every year I will say that, because each stage seems to be even more fun!"  We love being with our kids, I couldn't think of anything more fun.

Finals Praise Night

This is finals week for OU Students, so we put a praise night together for the Greek Students.  We have been talking to Port about hearing from the Lord and responding.  While we were worshipping he told me that he wanted to go pray for a few different people.  I can't think of anything that stirs my Spirit more than seeing my kids responding to Jesus.  Port Robert, God is using you to influence people's lives in a powerful way!

"So is my word that goes out from my mouth;  It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."  Isaiah 55:11

Happy Mother's Day JuJu!

We celebrated Mother's Day at Jake and Kourtney's last Saturday.  It was a beautiful day and we had a great time!  The daddy's helped the kids make Mother's day cards with some fun paint kits.  We tried getting a fun cousin picture, hopefully Aunt Kourtney has a better picture!  We missed you Anna!  Happy Mother's Day JuJu!  We are super thankful for all you do for our family.  You have planted seeds not only in Brian, but me and our kids as well.  You will be seeing fruit for generations to come!  Praise Jesus!

Avery's Birthday!

Mama and Ella
We never take pictures of Mommy's anymore! :-)
Happy 6th Birthday Avery!

We went to Chandler to celebrate Avery's birthday with a carnival party.  Jeannie did a great job as always, we met in the Jacob Ladder's gym.  God has great plans for you Avery Grace, we are super grateful to be a part of your life.  We love you!
We also went to Henderson Hills last week to watch Mattie and Ellie perform in their church musical.  They did great!  Mattie had a major role in the production and was AWESOME!  (Port has told everyone that she waved at him from stage)  Ellie's beautiful smile is easy to spot, even in a crowd that big.  Girls we are so proud of you!  Thanks for including us!
*On a funny note...Brian was out of town all week, so I took the boys to Edmond by myself.  I felt like I was holding things together pretty well, until I lost my phone at the church! (I proceeded to lose it 2 more times the next day)  Thanks Bob for being my knight and shining armor!  He tracked my phone down for me and brought it home.  I told Brian that I really felt loved that night.  I would usually only ask Brian or my dad to help me in that situation, and Bob really took care of me.  Thanks!

Mother's Day at Gingerbread

Playtime with Brody and Lilly
Gingerbread Elves

Mother's Day at Gingerbread is really special.  When I got to Port's class he escorted me to my seat.  Then he introduced me to his class, "This is my mommy Sarah."  All the kids got to sing with Teacher Skye some really fun songs.  At the end Port surprised me with a daisy.  After he served me my snack and juice we went and played.  It was a really special morning and really sweet to see how hard they had been working.  I am so blessed by Port Robert, I could think of a better job than being his mommy!

Haynes Birthday Breakfast

We celebrated Haynes birthday morning at the Donut Shop!  We gave him the option of pancakes or donuts, and we couldn't get dressed quick enough.  I can't believe it has already been 2 years!  We love you Haynes Cole!
*If you ask Haynes how old he is he will tell you 3!  All week he taps me and says, "No mommy, I'm 3!"

Millie Jean

Snack Time!
We love the Sandbox!
Sweet Millie

BryBry and Alli got to spend a few days in Boston together.  Millie is spending the weekend with her Kaki, but we get to watch her a little.  The boys were so excited to have Millie over they let her do their favorite things!  We played in the sandbox, climbed in the playhouse, colored pictures for Annie, and had a snack time.  She really loved the sand, she must get that from Haynes!  We love you Millie and can't wait to see you Sunday!

Peas in a Pod

"Cheers!"
Sweet Beau

This week we were blessed to help the Billingsley's by watching Beau.  I'm not sure who was more blessed Mike and Abbey or Haynes!  These two boys had the best time together.  We played cars (or "trucks" as Beau says),  colored with chalk and cars, played in the sandbox, played Superman on the swings, ate pizza, and every sport imaginable!  I have some great video, but don't know how to put that on here yet.  We are super thankful for a great friend in Beau Billingsley.  These two have many fun years ahead of them!

Haynes in small places!

I started with one picture and then realized that I have multiple pictures of Haynes in small spaces!  You never know where you are going to find him!  He definitely has been given the gift of creativity...God has great plans for you Haynes Cole!

My little helper

Monday's are usually laundry days...actually every day is laundry day now that we are a family of 5!  The boys help me by putting their pj's and undies away.  I came into the utility room this week to rotate the laundry and found all of Haynes' pj's in the washing machine!  I might have started his chores a little early, I'm not sure if he gets the difference between clean clothes and dirty clothes!  He gets an A for effort!!

I LUV DIRT!

The Dudes
Friends
Pudding Painting
Haynes and Jade
Our cute kids!

We celebrated Haynes' 2nd birthday on Saturday night.  We sent out little balls as invitations, and then realized that Brian was going to be gone.  We made some quick adjustments and moved the party to Saturday night.  All the kids wore "I LUV DIRT" shirts, even Ella and Asher.  We ate pizza, fruit, and dirt cake.  I think even though it was slightly cold, we had a great time!  We played a game remembering the fun things about Haynes over the last year, these are some of the questions...
1- What's Haynes' favorite toy?  B.B.
2- Favorite saying?  Sorry mom, what's that, where's daddy
3- Worst injury?  stitches
4- How's he pout and pray?
We are so blessed by our Sweet Haynes!  God has great things for you and we can't wait to see how he will grow you over the next year!  We love you Haynes Cole!

RaInY DaYs!

Lolli got the boys rainboots for Easter.  There has been plenty of rain in the last few days, so we have worn them lots!  Wednesday we went to Perfect Swing after BSF to play for the afternoon.  JuJu came with us and the boys LOVED it!  They have a great indoor playground for the boys.  There were lots of puddles outside for them to enjoy as well!

Haynes and Millie

Thursday morning we got to watch Millie while Allison went to see Baby Boy Ray.  We had SO much fun!!!  Millie laughed most of the morning at Haynes, her little giggle is priceless.  She did fit in perfect with Mr. Haynes...the first thing she did was sit in a puddle in her cute jeans.  I found some of Haynes' shorts for her to wear the rest of the morning.  They loved playing with chalk, playing in the sandbox, swinging in the backyard, and snack time!  I have to admit I was super thankful Allison gave me a 10 minute warning before she picked Millie up.  I was able to get her jeans cleaned and chalk off her face!  We had a great time, thanks for letting us love on her.  (I do think I got a "SaSa" out of her by the end of the morning!)
