OU Homecoming

The Dudes and the Boys
Watching the Parade
It's Game Day!
OU Pom Reunion
This weekend was OU's Homecoming game. It was also the OU Pom reunion, which means that all former OU Poms can come do pre-game on the field. We couldn't find a sitter for the game, so we just stopped by and saw my old friends. I have so many fun memories from those days! We took the kids to see the Homecoming Parade and met up with some of our students afterwards. Ella managed to get the most candy for the kids!

Ella Rose

This week we went to the pumpkin patch for our play date. We decided to just visit the McFarlin Pumpkin Patch and they were almost out of pumpkins. The kids loved it and we got some great pictures.

Halloween Party

Most Unique- Whitney
Best Overall- The Benton's
Famous Couple- Josh and Laura
Runner up: The LeBeau's...Bill and Benni Johnson

We had our annual Halloween Costume party on Thursday night. It's always so fun to see how creative our friends can be. These are just some shots of the winning costumes. Thanks for a fun night!

Gingerbread Halloween Parade

It rained on Thursday so the Halloween parade was moved inside. I didn't get great pictures, but the kids had a great time. Port was "Dale the chipmunk" for Halloween this year, and he LOVED it!

Leaves at JuJu's

JuJu watches Ella on Wednesday mornings while the boys and I go to BSF. We went to pick Ella up and the boys found a huge pile of leaves. They thought is was SO much fun, I had to run and grab my camera. We don't see that many leaves around our house, so it was so fun for them to play in. It reminded me about how we used to have to rake leaves when I was a little girl in the fall. It was so fun making the piles and so gross putting them in bags:-)

Football, basketball, etc.

My boys FAVORITE thing at night is playing football, basketball, or wrestling. Brian found this little costume and the boys trade off wearing it each night. It is so fun watching the boys starting to understand sports and really love playing together. Brian is trying to convince me that we should mount a basketball goal in our living room for a few months...I have not agreed:-)

Princess Preslee is 3!!

Happy Birthday Preslee!
Preslee got some makeup for her birthday, and I'm not sure who liked it more the boys or Preslee?! (It brought back memories from being a little girl and dressing Josh up in costumes and makeup) We love you sweet Preslee Love! Haynes talks about "Eeslee" on a daily basis. You always love Ella so well. We pray blessings over you this next year!!!

Ella Rose

Our sweet little pumpkin
My sweet friend Kerri made Ella's shirt for her. I had a hard time getting Ella to pose, but it's the cutest little pumpkin you have ever seen. Ella is moving everywhere these days, but still no steps. Her funniest new thing is that she likes to blow her nose! Her personality is coming out a little more each day, we sure do LOVE her!

Happy Birthday Uncle Jake!

We celebrated Jake's birthday at Iron Star on Sunday afternoon. These boys thought making lemon teeth was the coolest thing ever:-) We love you Uncle Jake and are so excited for what God is doing in you life! The other fun part of the day was that Braxton and Sutton were baptized that morning at Antioch. We love you boys and are so excited to see what God is going to do with you...He has GREAT plans for you!

Happy Birthday Alex!

Yummy Pumpkin Cake
Asher and Ella
County Line Bar-b-que

Happy Birthday Alex! We cooked dinner on Saturday night and unfortunately everything went wrong. We got to celebrate again at County Line on Sunday night...so much fun! We love you Alex! We pray blessings over you in this next year!!

Cooking at the Lake

Opening the carmels
Dipping the pretzels
Mommy's finished product
the boys finished product:-)

We took the leaders from our house church to the lake for a retreat last weekend. Our family went down on Thursday night so we could have things ready for everyone on Friday afternoon. Allison made some yummy pretzels last year and I thought it would be a fun project for us to attempt. They turned out to be so fun, really delicious, and super easy! They also were SO MESSY!!! I was thankful for naptime so I could deep clean the kitchen!!

Field Trip to the Firehouse

watching a video on fire safety
exploring the truck
listening to the siren

Haynes had a fireman visit his class on Monday and he wasn't real sure about it. Port's class was going to visit on Tuesday, so we decided to surprise Port and meet him there. Haynes jumped right in like it was his class and seemed a little more comfortable by the end of the day. I was super thankful for Angie who helped me juggle Ella and Haynes:-)

Family Night at Gingerbreat

My picture didn't turn out great, but we had a great time! We brought a picnic dinner to Gingerbread and roasted marshmallows the other night. The Gingerbread boys had a great time as always, but Haynes loved it just as much. It was so fun getting to see other kids and parents that are at Gingerbread too!
This is one of the boys favorite things to do at school...the fireman's pole. Port has definitely turned into quite a climber!

Silly Boys

I took the boys to the mall on a rainy day to play a few weeks ago. I looked over to watch their amazing team work! Port would lay on the floor and let Haynes climb on his back to push him on top of the house. They were so creative...it's amazing to watch them together! I just love these boys, I can't wait to see what they will do together as they grow up.
We've been trying to have play group on Friday afternoons. One week we met for lunch at City Bites and G decided to join the boys. My boys thought it was so fun that he got to come sit at the kid table with them for lunch.

Day 4 in NYC!

The River Cafe under the Manhattan Bridge
Dessert at The River Cafe
Bye Bye Birdie

On our last full day in NYC we decided to go have breakfast in Soho and walk through there. There are so many fun little shops and restaurants...we had breakfast and lunch there. On our way back we stopped at Magnolia bakery...Brian LOVED the banana pudding! Brian had made reservations at the River Cafe for dinner and then tickets to Bye Bye Birdie. It was a perfect end to our trip!

Day 3 in NYC!

Starting our morning at Dean & Deluca
*this picture was sent to me from my brother...This is a shot from tv!
On top of Rockefeller Center...great tip Mickey!
(Brian says I am not ever in the pictures...)
Brian stretching at the Met
Jersey Boys...AMAZING!
HardRock Cafe...things didn't go quite as planned

Day 3 was quite full and I forgot my camera...OOPS! We started at the Today Show and actually got on!! (No surprise that Josh could send us a picture of ourselves from the tv) It was still early so we went to the top of Rockefeller Center to see the city. Then we walked through Central Park to the Met (Metropolitan Museum of Art)...one of my favorites, probably not Brian's:-) Mickey bought us tickets to Jersey Boys for my birthday. It was absolutely the most amazing show I have ever seen!!! We had planned to eat something before the show and go out for dessert afterwards...but that didn't work out. So we ended up eating at Hard Rock around 10:45...Brian wasn't pleased! It was another amazing day!
