He did it!

A year ago, maybe, Brian told Port one night that if he could climb to the top of the pole he would buy him a pair of shoes. Since that day my boys have been climbing everything possible to win that competition I was a dinner with some girls and got this text! He finally made it all the way to the top. He didn't get a pair of shoes but he was pretty proud.

Crew and Ella

Ask Ella who her best friend is and the answer is usually Crew. Now if you watch them play, you may not always think that is true. They can love each other as well as they can drive each other crazy! We all went to lunch after t-ball a week ago. I was entertaining these two before everyone else got there...

Smiles...maybe?!? Not sure what these faces are except funny!

Silly faces!

Angry faces...
crew had this one down!

OU baseball

Drew and Christy, some of our new friends, invited us to sit in the outfield at the last baseball game together. We packed a picnic, bundled up, and headed out there with a few other friends...the Paynes and the Noles!

Ella loved it...if you can't tell:-)

Haynes was a little chili when we first got there, so he had dinner under his blanket.

Jade convinced Haynes, without much effort, to climb under the fence and get a few balls. Everyone was thrilled to get their balls back and Haynes couldn't have been more proud! Thanks Jade...

Brian got this fun toy for Christmas and thought this was the perfect night to bring it out. All the kids loved it! I love that my husband is always thinking through what we can do to create a fun atmosphere for the kids. God truly blessed him with eyes and a heart to love on kids so well. I consider myself a pretty lucky girl:-). Love you babe!

Thunder playoffs

We have been super blessed to get to attend a few playoff games this year. My husband really just loves it! Bob called one afternoon at 3 and said he got tickets to a suite. My parents graciously watched our kids. We had our own box. We had a great time and I think Bob might have found the way to get JuJu excited about basketball:-). Thanks for another fun night!!

Bubbles

Lolli and Champ let the kids fill the hot tub with bubbles. They LOVED it! I have more pictures but they are stuck on my camera...

Where's Port?!?

We were spending an afternoon in the front yard and I was sharing with our sweet elderly neighbors about our trip to Lebanon last year. I was slightly distracted until I heard Port say "MOM! Look at me!"
(He is in this picture, I promise...)
Port said, "I can't go any higher. There aren't ANYMORE branches!"
If you look at the first picture our baby tree is leaning from my big 5 year old!

Pizza with the Billingsley's

Brian and Mike were gone for a few days at a Community Servants Retreat. Abbey and I decided to get our littles together one night for dinner. Abbey made some yummy pizza and everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather. We let these big girls sit together outside!
The big kids have so much fun together. When we finally made everyone go to the car, it was way past time to go. Abbey and Lainey ran out to the car just before we left and Lainey said, "EVERYONE is crying!" Yes Lainey, we love your family too much and can't hardly say goodbye until we actually completely melt down:-)
Love you Billingsley's!

Nurse of the year!

Sweet Catherine, didn't want anyone to know that she is....
Nurse of the YEAR!
The amazing part about this is that she hasn't really even been at OU Children's for a full year! They had to lie to get her up to the hospital to celebrate her new title. They will definitely miss her! We always new she was perfect for her job, but it's even more fun for her associates to acknowledge it too!
Love you Cath!

More of the party...

These three kids are amazing! I loved watching Port and Ella celebrate Haynes. They really loved him well and celebrated him all week long. It was so fun listening to them encourage their brother even at such young ages.
Haynes best buddy Beau....I absolutely LOVE these boys!
Some of Haynes sweet friends...
Isaiah, Patrick, and Millie
I think daddy's had as much fun as the little boys did!
These 4 boys are going to be world changers!
This is my boys FAVORITE game right now! We pull a basketball goal to our trampoline and they practice shooting and dunking. When the boys showed up that was the first thing they ran up to...
I love this beautiful boy!
Everyone LOVED the corn dogs!
The kids wanted all their friends to see the ducks swim. Parents quickly tried to keep the kids out of the pool too! The ducks are pretty cute swimming in the pool though...
Ella is just now really LOVING playing with little girls. Don't get me wrong she can hang with the boys and usually enjoys stirring them up...Allison sent me this sweet picture of these beautiful girls!

Basketball Party

Haynes has been loving wearing his "Thunder" jersey, so we decided that the party favors should be jerseys for everyone! We had their names put on the back and the #4 on the front. All the kids looked adorable in their fun jerseys.
Haynes loves fruit more than any other kid I know! I decided that we would use "cuties" for decoration and a yummy treat with the rest of our food.
Haynes has started loving to eat corndogs. All I had to do was mention it to my dad and he went to work. We had corndogs and mini corndogs and fries....it was great!

Lolli helped make the cupcakes this year. We found this picture of cupcakes with balls on the top made out of donut holes. The kids loved them!

Happy 4th Birthday Haynes!

Haynes Cole is 4 years old!!
I can't hardly believe it's been 4 years! We have been so excited to celebrate our sweet little man. It was so fun putting him to bed and telling him how different he was going to be the next morning when he was 4! We have seen so much change in our little Haynes over the last year, I can't wait to see what God has for him this year!
We had to wake him up so that Daddy could spend some time with him before he left for work. It's not a great picture but we got him up by telling him we had some presents for him to open:-)
I was pretty impressed by how great his siblings handled all of Haynes attention. (I vividly remember pouting during my brother's birthday...sure am thankful I haven't passed that on to my kids!)
Haynes requested Daddy's blue pancakes for breakfast...everyone was pleased with his request!
He got a special phone call from Lolli and Champ as he got ready for school.
It was a great morning celebrating Hayners!

Sleeping on the Trampoline

Brian has been promising the boys that they would spend the night on the trampoline. The kids were so excited to actually get to do it last week. The boys grabbed their sleeping bags and headed outside to the trampoline.
This was a picture of Brian trying to get their beds set up. Every time he would get something set out the boys would start jumping around:-)
(check out Brian's massive hand...)
Brian had a great time talking with the boys. I didn't think there was anyway the kids would fall asleep outside, but they actually did. Brian brought the boys in after an hour and put them in there beds because a cold front was coming through that night. When Port woke up the next morning he was so disappointed that he wasn't on the trampoline...maybe this summer!

Thunder playoffs

Brian and I have been lucky enough to go to both rounds of the playoffs this year. First round we went with Jake and Bob, while Juju watched ALL my kids for the first time! She did so well that my dad found all of is tickets for the second round.

This picture is horrible, but it's all I have! We had a great time together...too bad we lost!

Morning basketball...

My sweet husband LOVES competition. So much that he gets up around 4:45am once or twice a week to play basketball with friends. This week he came home and tried to sneak by me with a huge package of ice on his hand. I asked what happened and he casually said he hurt his hand...see picture below!

We know that it's not broke, but he's currently at a hand specialist to see what his next step is...we are praying for complete and quick healing over his hand. He is beyond confident that this won't affect anything, except morning basketball for a few weeks:-)

Halle is 2 months!

I took sweet Halle to her 2 month appointment on Friday. She is now 7 pounds 7 ounces!!! That's almost an ounce a day...plus I've been trying to just nurse and supplement only once at night! Her measurements for length and head seem to be off, so we will recheck them in a month. They should download her machine this week and hopefully get some results next week. She seems to only have alarms when she's in her carrier. Our pediatrician didn't seem concerned about that so we aren't either:-)

We will continue to pray for growth, no alarms, smiles, and giggles from this sweet girl!
