We Need A Bus!

I got to pick up a few extra kids last week...we decided we needed a bus so we could get all our friends!  The pictures are in the wrong order, but you get the idea.  When I showed up the teachers asked if everyone left at school was headed home with me:-)
We headed to Classics for our after school treat!  The boys in the back and girls up front!  Millie absolutely made my day with her impromptu singing!!!
I LOVE these kiddos!

Haynes Cole

Last week we were at the park having lunch when Haynes came walking to me SCREAMING and holding his mouth....He quickly showed me that his front two teeth were quite loose!  He fell into the metal merry-go-round teeth first...OUCH!
I immediately called Dr. Blum and they had us come in to check out his teeth.  I was pretty prepared for them to take his teeth out, but thankfully we got to keep them:-)  Haynes has been on strict restrictions of eating nothing hard for at least a week...so far I've caught him eating an apple, chewing on a rock, trying to wiggle his teeth so he could get "some money", etc.

Other funny Haynes stories...
Today at house church Haynes asked David to watch his stuffed animal elephant while he was jumping on the trampoline.  He said, "just make sure he doesn't poop!"

We went to the Dolphin movie tonight and Brian asked Haynes, "Do you like Winter (the dolphin)?"  Haynes said, "Yeah, cuz I can eat snow..."

Little Ears

After our great news, our little girl didn't seem to want to celebrate as much as everyone else!  After about 3 hours of constant screaming, no fever, refusing to eat I headed to the ER.  I was pretty confident Halle had an ear infection.  After getting everyone's attention, with her LOUD voice, we were quickly diagnosed with two ear infections.  The fun news about our trip to the ER was we got to be weighed in...
Halle weighs 12.5!
After leaving the ER around midnight we headed to get our antibiotics at CVS.  We ran into a family we had seen in the waiting room at the hospital.  They told me they had a little boy in the NICU that only weighed 5.12.  I was able to share Halle's story and how she is growing perfect now.  They let me pray over them and the mommy.  I just love how God is opening so many doors ALREADY to share Halle's testimony!  He makes it SO easy!

*Check out that neck strength in that picture:-)

LeTs CeLeBrAtE!!!

Friday afternoon the Genetics Counselor from Children's called with the blood work for Halle.  They retested a lot of things we have already gotten results for and AGAIN they came back perfect!
PRAISE JESUS!

They also got the blood work back for the genetic/chromosome testing.  Halle still tested positive for William Syndrome.  They amazing news is that ALL other chromosomes are perfect!  There aren't any duplicates, extras, deleted, etc.  They also determined that there is only 1.4 missing from the 7th chromosome.  There is a long arm and a short arm in every chromosome.  The short arm is PERFECT and the long arm is only missing 1.4.  They actually are calling this a micro deletion because there is such a small amount missing.
All that science terminology to say...God is literally healing Halle in front of our eyes!  We are contending that that 7th chromosome will continue to fill in until it is PERFECT!

PRAISE JESUS!!

Megan and Chase's Wedding

The Ceremony
Amazing flowers to go with the sunset service...
I got to help Kinsley go down the isle and then let my kids entertain her. My kids were beyond please to play with this sweet girl. She did a great job getting down the isle and stealing the show!
Dancing and Desserts!
We are beyond excited for what God has planned for Megan, Chase and Kinsley. Thanks for letting us be apart of your wedding and marriage.

Sharks..first game!

First NYSA game...check out the matching coaches shirts!
So our team played the mini-pro team under 7! They literally scored over 10 points on us in the first half, were doing push-ups and jumping jacks while waiting to go on the field, and beyond amazing on the field! This is the half-time shot where Brian was giving them a pep talk:-)
Despite the score we were thrilled with our boys hard work! They did an amazing job, were super competitive, and had improved a ton from last season. Port said, "Why were you and aunt Kourtney jumping up and down when we scored!" Because we love you guys Port Robert! These are mighty men and we can't wait to see how you grow this fall!

Dragon-Sharks

Haynes team is still with the YMCA this fall. They unfortunately got the poop brown shirts. We considered dying them...but realized that wouldn't help much.
Our kids have improved so much in just a year! Haynes scored two goals and did great. We played Hayes Gladhill's team which was fun seeing all our friends.
Best Buddies
I just love how God has given each of my boys amazing friends. These two are super special buddies. Last week Beau was sick and didn't get to make it to school. His first response was, "But what about Haynes!"
Love them!!

Setting up

My cousin, Megan, got married at my parents house this weekend. We went and helped them set up on Friday afternoon. I wasn't sure how much help we would be since I brought 4 kids with me...they actually did a great job! Ella played in the sandbox and drank Lolli's icy. Port emptied all the coke cans for the get-away car...drank a few I'm sure. Haynes actually helped set up these chairs and grabbed a few drinks of the sodas too. They were great helpers and my mom did an AMAZING job!

Happy Birthday Dax!!

Friday was Dax's 6th birthday! Port got to join their family breakfast at Chick-fil-a. I had to miss Dax's cool party at the OU Baseball field, but my kids and husband rated it as the best ever. We love you Dax Man!

Love them

Halle had a few rough nights last week. Praise Jesus she is back to sleeping through the nights this week! I was up early and took this sweet picture of Brian with her. She is truly our best cuddler of all our kids. We don't complain too much about that:-)
Last week I told him that when I can't get her to fall asleep by herself, I will put my pillow I sleep with beside her and she falls asleep immediately. I said she just wants me near at all times! Brian thought I was nuts, but tried it this weekend...it worked:-)

Waiting...

This week the boys came with me to Ella's dance class this week. I let them bring their DS and Leapster so they didn't mind too much! I felt like I had a flashback of my brother when I was little. I sent my brother this picture and his response was "I just had a gameboy to play with..."
Funny huh? The boys didn't understand why they couldn't watch Ella, just wait for the recital:-)

*Ella discovered the hip hop class going on in the other studio. She just had to peak in through the door. Then she gasped and said, "There's a boy in there!"

Haynes....

We've been missing our nap time a little too frequently around here lately. Haynes was having a hard time finding his JOY while I was cooking dinner so I sent him to his room. Well...he sat down on the bed and fell asleep! I just love this sweet guy!

ZOO

The weather has been amazing, so we decided to head to the zoo last week. The Doke's joined us for our last minute trip on a beautiful afternoon. The kids had a great day!
This was a my best shot of our big kids together:-)
Ella loved some little girl time with sweet Emma and Sophie!
Thanks for the fun day together girls!

NYSA Soccer

We've moved up from YMCA soccer and now we are doing NYSA soccer. Our team is Port and his best buddies...Dax, Braxton, Sutton, Noah, and Nate. They are practicing in Dan and Nancy's front yard, so the kids are just loving it!
1st practice was a success!
We were laughing at the daddy's because the boys had to run for not listening...we've really stepped up our game:-)
Go SHARKS!

Labor Day at the Lake

This year for Labor Day we spent the whole weekend at the lake. We usually got to the OU game and then head down, but this year felt like we were going to be missing too much so we skipped out on the game. We also got to celebrate Murphey's birthday at the lake with a fun game of Candy Land. The kids loved it! Jeannie is truly the most creative woman I know!
The made jolly rancher suckers...so fun!
And celebrated the sweet birthday girl with lots of sweets!

It was fun remembering that a year ago on Labor Day is when we told everyone we were pregnant with Halle!

Ballet Class

I have to admit this process has been just as fun for me! I feel like God has spoken that this season is for us to see dreams fulfilled. There was a time that I thought we were only going to have mighty men to raise and dance class probably wasn't going to be on our schedule. The fact that Ella seems to love dance class even more than I could have ever hoped is just icing on the cake:-)
We got home from school and got Ella dressed. The boys were just as excited to tell her how beautiful she looks. Make sure to ask Ella what kind of shoes she wears because "ballet shoes" is my new favorite word!
It's so funny walking into the studio as a mommy! I've been a student and a teacher, but now I'm the mommy in the waiting room. Ella has a few friends in class with her, sweet Millie and Selah. Miss Felicia, a friend of mine, is her teacher. We don't get to watch class, but just watching Ella walk into class on her tippy toes is so fun. We can't wait for lots of fun memories!

Love him...

My kids love climbing out the front seat of the car. This day I was getting Halle out and didn't quite notice Haynes was lingering around the driver's seat. When I went to shut the door Haynes said, "Look Mom! I'm just like you!" He got my lipstick out and had applied it to his cute face. I just adore him...even in lipstick!
