Favorite Sayings...

These are some of the things our boys are saying right now...

Haynes:  "Oh Man!"  He will answer with this too often.  Tonight Brian said, "Boys we are going to jump into the shower really fast."  Haynes response was..."Oh Man!"

Port:  The other day when Port woke up I told him that he was my cuddle bug.  For some reason this stuck and will often correct me when I call him Port, "I'm not Port, I'm Cuddle Bug!"  Tonight we went to a Redhawk Baseball game and Port and his cousins were playing tag.  I started cheering for Port saying, "Run Port!"  In the middle of the chase he turned and look at me and said, "I'm not Port, I'm cuddle bug!!"

Pizza!

We decided to make pizza on the grill!  The boys (including Brian) LOVED it!  The only bad thing was Brian showed them how to throw the dough in the air...now they like to try that with all different types of food.  OOPS!  :-)

Naked Tea Party!

We have been loving spending our days outside!  One day I was cleaning the backdoor and the boys thought they would help out.  If you know anything about my boys, getting wet is always a great excuse to lose your clothes.  They kept "cleaning" while I opened a gift Ella received a few months ago.  When Port saw what I had he got really excited and said, "Let's have Passover!"  Haynes and Ella sat patiently as Port served them, "the blood and His body."
After enjoying Passover, Port decided they should pretend it was Mom's Prayer.  He proceeded to serve them coffee!  This wasn't what I pictured as our first Tea Party, but it was definitely memorable!

Bricktown Riverwalk

Catching Quack-Quacks
A Penguin?!?
Champ and Ella

After the baseball game we decided to walk along the Riverwalk.  The boys loved walking the path and chasing the ducks.  Haynes would get close and say, "It bit me!"  Port found a random Penguin walking down the Boardwalk.  We had a great time and look forward to going back.  It always reminds me of Jake and Kourtney's rehearsal dinner when we go down there...WOW!  Doesn't our family look different, 9 kids later!  God is Good!

Redhawks

Cotton Candy
Ice-Cream
Pizza
We got tickets to a Redhawks baseball game on Thursday night.  Haynes was SO excited, he kept saying "Beez-ball!"  We went knowing that we wouldn't last real long, but thought the kids would enjoy it.  We lasted as long as the food did:-)  Haynes loved the pizza and ice-cream.  He liked the ice-cream so much he moved away from Brian because he kept taking bites!  Port tried a hot dog, then went for the pizza, and ended with cotton candy!  (Not our most nutritional evening...)  It was a great evening with Lolli and Champ!

Projects!

This summer we have been doing different "projects" each day.  Port loves them and asks each morning what our project is going to be.  Sometimes I have things planned and others...we are a little more creative.  I have been wanting to plant a pot of different spices, so the boys and Lolli helped me.  We also bought a blueberry bush to plant in our backyard, we can't wait for fresh blueberries.  They are our favorite!

Baylor Bears

On our way out of town we stopped and introduced Port to the Baylor Bears.  Port had a great time spending the whole weekend with Grandad and JuJu.  Thanks for letting us ride with you to Waco...Port keeps asking when we will do it again.  We plan on going again when Baby Hartsock comes in July!

Anna's Dance Recital

Ice-cream to celebrate
Anna's new necklace
Port and Anna

Anna was a beautiful dancer!  We were all SO proud of her.  She was so cute to watch dance, we look forward to making that a yearly event.  Port was really excited for Anna and loved giving her flowers.   We also got her a little ballet shoe necklace, it looked precious on her.  It was a great weekend and we can't wait to go back again.

Weekend in Waco

Breakfast with Jade
Lisa...the pocket bunny?!
Anna and Port

Port and I went to Waco for Anna's first dance recital last weekend.  We left Saturday afternoon with Grandad and JuJu and came home Sunday night.  Port had so much fun spending the weekend with Anna.  We got to go to dinner, see their house, where they are building, go to church, and then see Anna dance.  It was such a fun weekend and we can't wait to go back again soon!  Haynes really missed Port, so we won't go without him again.

Crawdad Fishing

Haynes and Daddy
Look what we caught!
Haynes fell in...Champ jumped in!
Jeep ride with the boys!

While the girls were at the shower for Kerri, the boys went crawdad fishing!  My dad and Brian took the boys in the jeep to a creek to go fishing.  (The boys LOVE riding in the jeep)  I think before they even got started Haynes fell through some grass into the water and Champ had to jump in after him!  They had a great time together.  The boys said, "Champ got pinched!"  They thought that was really funny, they must get that from their mommy:-)

It's SuMmEr!

"It's still summer," is Port's favorite saying lately.  We are so excited that it's finally summer.  We have been swimming a ton lately.  JuJu and Kourtney found these great life jackets called "Puddle Jumpers."  I am probably their biggest fan! (Really anyone that has kids close my kids age I HIGHLY recommend them!!)  Haynes can swim all over the pool by himself in these little jackets.  Ella loves the water too.  She thinks her brothers splashing her is hilarious!  We love summer!!!

Baby Gracie is coming soon!

We threw Kerri a baby shower last week.  Baby Gracie is due in about 5 weeks and we can't wait to meet her.  We had a great time celebrating little Gracie and Kerri.  Kerri got some sweet clothes and her mom finished her baby bedding.  We are so excited to see what God has for the Grigor's as they enter this next season of life.  Love you guys!

Fun with Cousins

Uncle Blake and Port
Anna and Port
Jade and Haynes

Blake, Marci and Anna just got back from India a few weeks ago.  When they came to pick Jade up we got to have a little play time together.  The kids played in the backyard and eventually ended up with a water fight against Uncle Blake.  We love you guys and are always thankful for time together!

Emma and Haynes

Our friends, The Doke's, came over for dinner the other night.  Our boys love sweet little Emma and her sister Sophie.  They had a great time eating pizza, blowing bubbles, and playing together.  Our families had a great evening together, we are blessed by great friends!

APPLES!!!

My boys LOVE fruit, but they love apples the very most!  Haynes specifically loves apples and he will eat the WHOLE thing, core and all!  Haynes usually eats at least one apple a day.  When we go to the grocery store he loves to go pick an apple as his treat.  As mom, I couldn't ask for a better treat!

Haynes and Ella

Both of our boys really love their sister, but Haynes has recently really started enjoying her.  He refers to her as "Ewwa", loves playing with her (cried going to take a nap the other day because he wanted to play with Ella), is VERY protective!  Brooke came to watch Haynes for me the other morning and Haynes lost it when Asher got to take a nap in Ella's bed.  (Not our greatest moment, but does demonstrate his protective heart for her)  It is so fun watching both boys love her so well, but so differently at the same time!  We are so blessed by our sweet kids!

Cold Lake Water

We finally figured out how to post a video!
Here's a sample of the lake water!

Skiing at the lake

The whole way to the lake Port kept asking, "When do I get to ski?"  On Sunday afternoon we went down to the Lippoldt's cabin and let the kids ski.  They all did a great job and had a great time!  Port is truly an encourager.  Every time someone went to ski he would cheer them on as loud as he could.  When he fell he would stand up cheering...he experiences joy in all things!

Memorial Day at the Lake

Ella's first day on the lake
Brian's wetsuit...laugh now, but the water was FREEZING!
"Ribbit"
The boys...Haynes got his finger pinched in the gas

We went with our whole family to the lake for Memorial Day weekend.  We are so blessed to have such a great family!  We love spending weekends at the lake with our family, so many fun memories.  This weekend the water was still really cold, so Brian found a cheap wetsuit.  One day I will learn to put video on the blog, because I have some fabulous video of Jade and Brian getting in the water!  What great daddies!

Slip and Slide

Millie LOVED it!
Three Musketeers!

The kids loved the slip and slide!  Allison and Millie came to pick up Beau and decided to join in on the fun.  I think Haynes was the only one who figured out how to actually slide, but they loved the water.  We can't wait to have another pool day again!

Playing with Beau

"Cheers!" with Cheetos
Our picnic in the tent
Beau's favorite "truck"
We got to have another play date with Beau a few weeks ago.  We spent most of the morning in the front yard riding every "truck" we own.  We have a great neighborhood, where there isn't much traffic. The boys had a GREAT time!  After that we decided to go to Lolli and Champ's to have a picnic and slip and slide.  We all love Haynes little buddy Beau!
