After the tornado

Brian and I have dime great memories playing in the mud after storms at his parents house. Once we were clear of the tornado the kids quickly found the mud!

We had bets to see which kid was the dirtiest...I gave her my vote!

This guy won everyone else's votes!

Port didn't do too bad himself:-)

These kids were having the best time...

I love these crazy kids!

Tornado

The weather warned of HORRIBLE tornados all day long. Brian called around 2:00 and told me to go to his parents and spend the afternoon until he got home. I told the kids when I picked them up from school we were going to JuJu's they were THRILLED!
You wouldn't have known that we were preparing for a tornado it really looked more like a party. We just required that the kids stay close in case we needed to get in the raquetball court.
The rain and lightening came so we headed inside for a little bit. Aunt Kourtney was prepared with movies and snacks for the kids.
When the sirens went off we send the grandparents and kids into the "shelter" part of the courts. It was pretty chaotic, but we made lots of memories:-) This is one of my favorite moments when I looked over to see Papa playing cards with Ella. I think the final counts was around 70 people in our little shelter that night! Thank you Jesus for the protection!

Halle Beth

Pray for Halle Beth

We believe God for who He says He is and we believe He has protected and is completely healing Halle’s body. Please join us in praying the fullness of God for Halle – that any place the enemy comes to steal, kill or destroy (John 10:10) Jesus has came not only to give her life but ABUNDENT LIFE – and we claim those promises over her. Please join us in praying God’s word and promises over Halle!

This is an outline to pray because we believe when we agree and what we pray lines up with Heaven – Heaven comes to earth!

*God thank you that Halle is fearfully and wonderfully made and all the days ordained for her and the plans for her life you have already spoken into being! (Psalm 139:13-16)

*Thank you that Halle and her family dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in your shadow Almighty God; in you alone we entrust Halle to; and you cover her with your feathers and she will find refuge in you (Psalm 91:1-2; 4)

*Thank you that you have already paid for Halle’s complete healing (Is. 53:5)

*Lord thank you that Halle’s heart is strong and healthy – we declare it will remain that way in Jesus name. That the elastin will not decrease and she will have no issues with her heart or the flexibility of any tissue in her body. That the elastin in her body will be in perfect balance; not too loose or tight.

*That her blood calcium levels will be in proper levels

*Halle will have no feeding problems. That she will be able to eat, keep it down and her body will use all the nutrients and calories to grow and be healthy. We pray for increased weight gain and muscle strength in her neck, torso and limbs.

*We come against intestinal irritability and colic (especially in the next 6 months), reflux and vomiting. We pray the comfort of God and peace of God over her little body.

*Against any developmental delays in body or mind – thank you that Halle is on her own healthy growth curve and she will continue and even increase growth and milestones in this first year of life.

*Thank you that you are developing her little mind to grasp and process information. The neurons will fire and synapses will do their job and her vision and hearing perfect. Every organ will function as they were intended to.

Over Brian and Sarah –

Psalm 112:7 They will have no fear of bad news, their hearts are steadfast trusting in the Lord.

2 Timothy 1:7 They will not walk in fear, but Power, Love and Sound Mind.

Thunder Playoffs

Brian and I got to go to our last NBA playoff game in OKC. They handed out these fun banners that were crazy loud noise makers. We had a great time watching the series together! I knew nothing about the team walking into playoffs...Until next year's playoffs I'll turn in my NBA fan badge:-)

Gingerbread Picnic

Gingerbread has an end-of-the-year picnic. We went on Monday night with most of Port's buddies since we had t-ball on Tuesday night. The boys found a basketball and literally played until the sun went down. It was a fun night telling Port and Haynes teachers how much we adore them and then talking to some of our NEW teachers for next year.
Classic boy story...
Port got to visit the Kindie class during his last week of school, just to get him ready for next year. When he told me about it he said it was really fun, they built something with legos, and that was about it....I talked to teacher Nancy at the picnic and she said, "Did Port tell you about what happened?!?" After I obviously didn't know what she was talking about she proceeded with the story. Port somehow managed to find a random pile of dog poop on his way over to the Kindie class and stepped on it without knowing! He got into the class and kids started smelling poop and screaming about it. The teachers quickly realized that it was on Port's flip flop, they grabbed his shoes and cleaned them off quickly. Teacher Nancy immediately asked all the kids "Have you ever stepped in something gross?" The kids were immediately distracted and moved on in the class. She was so amazed that Port was so confident that it didn't even phase him! She said she was so concerned because most kids would have been devastated, but Port was unfazed!
Port Robert you are confident man of God. You know your identity in Jesus and walk confidently wherever you go. I pray that you continue to carry that confidence and innocence through out the rest of your life!

Cheesecake Factory

We decided to eat somewhere fun while we were in the city. We headed to the Cheesecake Factory and it was a hit with our kiddos. I was most excited about the dessert, so we ordered a chocolate cheese cake and the keylime pie cheesecake. It was amazing!
Mother-like-daughter...Brian and I laughed until we cried watching Ella eat, lick, and fight to get the most cheesecake. She was completely covered, but loved every minute of it!

Kelli and Will's Wedding

Will and Kelli got married a few weeks ago. We absolutely adore them and couldn't miss their sweet wedding. We had a pretty full weekend and had rotated too many babysitters, so we just brought everyone...WOW! Brian and I knew walking into this we were nuts, but the kids actually did GREAT!
We managed to stay quite through out the entire wedding, see a few friends, and then off for a family date! I loved watching these two precious friends get married. God has amazing plans for Will and Kelli! Love you guys!

Flinstones

We got to celebrate our sweet girl for her last Music School Performance. I bought her a little bucket of lipstick, eye shadow and nail polish to give her that morning. She LOVED it!
During the week I took each of the boys to the store to pick out their flowers to give Ella. They were so proud to give her the perfect gift. I love watching my boys love on Ella Rose.
Ella and Campbell
*Campbell's mommy is a good friend of mine from high school. Her mommy made her sweet costume too. Ella loved playing with her, so we have some play dates planned for this summer.
Ella and Mommy
I absolutely adore this sweet picture. She is quite the Daddy's girl!
Ella and her sweet brothers
Ella and Lolli
*My mom helped me with the costume. It took a few tries but turned out pretty cute. Her necklace was a last minute add on, but was perfect!
Dino, Wilma, Pebbles and Bam-Bam
Ella and Finley
*Finley's mommy was a good friend of mine in high school. When Ella comes home from music school she usually only talks about Crew, but we hear about Finley a lot too:-)
While these kids had the most amazing car and were the cutest costumes, they danced better than they sang:-) It was a cute show and I can only imagine what a dance recital will be like next year!

So long Albee!

Alex is taking a 5 week class in Colorado. Brooke did a fun dinner party before he left to celebrate him and say "so long!" I told her that sounded too sad....
The kids had a great time of course! My kids are horrified that they won't see Alex for a while. We are praying for Alex and his sweet family. Only a few more days until he's home!

Park Dates

The boys last week of school I tried to be really intentional with my time with Ella. We decided to have a lunch picnic at the park. I called my dad and he brought my Poppy out for a lunch date. They got to see Halle and watch Ella play on the playground around the corner from Poppy's house. She was so proud and the boys were VERY jealous:-)

Girls...

Ella, Emmy, Maddy, Cadence and Grace

Beth, Kerri and I met at the park for the afternoon. Sweet Megan came to watch the girls while we chatted. She took this picture of all the girls playing. So much fun!

We are potty trained!
Of course she did it by herself! She came in one afternoon and told me she went poo-poo in the potty and didn't want to where pull ups any more! I put her in some big girl undies I bought and she's only had a few accidents! Thank you Jesus for making that so easy:-) Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
