We LOVE you Daddy!

Our schedule has been OUT OF CONTROL lately! Brian and I are teaching a dating class through our training center at church with our friends the Kulhman's. It has been so much fun, but on top of our regular schedule we feel a little stretched. Brian had to take pictures on Thursday for the CBC website. Haynes, Ella, and I decided to meet up with him for lunch...I think it made Haynes's week!
We love you Daddy! You are the most amazing daddy! You love your kids with a passion, you teach them to pursue Jesus with all their hearts, you demonstrate what it looks like to disciple others, you are SO generous, you love me EXTRAVAGANTLY! You are the best!

Sweet Owen
Millie joined the "Big Brother/Sister" club
Wednesday was such a fun day! My best friend Allison had her precious little boy Owen. She did amazing! We determined that she didn't even break a sweat...way to go Al! Little...or not so little Owen is absolutely perfect. Millie is going to be the best big sister. We are so excited for your sweet family!

*Wednesday night when me and the kids were driving home from the hospital the sun was AMAZINGLY bright! The kids kept yelling, "I can't see!" Then I remembered when we had Owen's prophetic night that sun/rays were a constant theme. God is so good to give sweet Owen an AMAZING sunset on the day he was born. Love you Owen!

First Cheetos!

Ella had her first Cheeto on Saturday. She wasn't great at chewing, but she sure did love it. I'm not real sure there's much she doesn't like...She was so proud of her messy face I had to get her picture. We are having to REALLY watch the boys because the think they can feed her too now that she is getting bigger. I am so thankful that they adore their sweet sister!

The Hem of His Garmet

God is in a good mood today!
Annie Margaret

Abbey and I went to Dallas last week for a Healing Conference. We took sweet Annie with us, she was amazing! We had such a great time and were forever changed by God's presence. God is so good! I am so thankful for Brian, my parents, sweet Laura and sweet Shannon who helped love on my kids while we were gone.

The boys...

Port is turning into his daddy more and more each day! He asks to pick his clothes out EVERY day. Now he likes to tuck his shirt in on the front and leave it hanging in the back...sound familiar:-) I told Brian next he won't leave the house without a belt on!
My sweet two year old is the best scooter rider I know! He is AMAZING! We've been practicing some while Port is in school. I am always so proud of how he really can do anything he puts his mind to!

She's so Funny!

Ella is growing SO fast! She is crawling, pulling up, talking, and so much more! She has started picking things up and turning them into paci's. This is one of our worship instruments that Ella thought worked better as a paci. Love you sweet girl!

Glitter Pumpkins

We are getting pretty excited for fall! We decided to make some glitter pumpkins last Monday since we have had so much rain! The boys LOVED it and our house looks like Tinker Bell sprinkled pixie dust all over it....or gold dust:-)

Haynes First Day of Music School-Fall

Haynes actual first day of school picture is lost on my old camera from the spring. One day I'm sure it will appear, but we still haven't found it since May! Haynes is doing Music School on Monday and Friday's this year. I was a little nervous about taking him for some reason, but when we got there he ran into the class and never looked back! When I picked him up he came out yelling, "I had fun!" He actually gets to go to school with our sweet friend Sadie, God is so good! We love you Hayners! God has big things for you this year!

Boys and OU Football

Last week when Ella was sick Brian took the boys to the first home game. It was so rainy, but the boys definitely made the most of the game! Thankfully the game was a blow out so Daddy didn't mind leaving by half time. Great memories playing in the rain!

Ella has the flu...

We've been fighting sickness in our house for about 3 weeks now. After a day of high fever and no sleep we took Ella to the doctor today. She has an ear infection and the swine flu:-( We think this virus has probably run its course through our house, so we are thankful to be at the end of it! We are praying a quick recovery for our little princess. Also continued protection over our friends we've been around over the last few days. We are declaring that God is our Healer and there is no place for sickness in our household!

Happy Birthday Dax!

Best Buddies
Today Dax is 4!!
We were running errands and just happened to have lunch with Dax and his family! Port and Haynes LOVE Dax! When we were leaving I told Port that when Dax was born we took him up to the hospital (he was about 2 months old). The nurses checked us out because we had such a little baby at the hospital. We told them that Port was going to be Dax's best buddy...four years later it is definitely true. We are so blessed to get to go to school, soccer, and BSF together! God has great plans for you Dax, we can't wait to watch. We love you buddy!

Haynes

Today we got to check out Haynes new school. Cochran's Music School just moved to a new location so we all (Port, Haynes, Ella and me) went to check it out. I think all three of my kids would attend without question. Haynes didn't love going to school this summer,
but he LOVED it today! Praise Jesus! We are looking forward to a great year!

Some funny things about Haynes lately...
-only likes to be referred to as Mickey (Mickey Mouse)
-loves playing golf (we can only find 1 golf ball at our house...constantly looking for it!)
-sword fights are his other favorite, but must follow his rules on location
-when he's really tired he must wear flip flops at naptime

Ellison Kate Sher

When we were in Dallas our dear friends Rob, Heather, and Ellison just happened to be staying at our same hotel! Ellison was born about 2 months ago and we have tried to see her without any success. She is absolutely beautiful! She looks just like her mommy! We also got to stay up late one night and catch up with Rob and Heather. They are some of our most favorite people. Although they live in Tulsa, I am thankful for the way the Lord connects our hearts. God has been moving in a powerful way in their lives over the last few months. We pray abundant blessings over their family and look forward to seeing more of them since football season is here! Love you guys!

OU vs. BYU

BriBri and Jade...Jade not so sure about this guy
SaSa and Anna

OU had their first home game in Dallas last weekend. My parents were gracious enough to offer to watch the kids while Brian and I got a weekend away. We went down to Dallas with Bob and Judi and met Blake, Marci, Anna, Jade and Elizabeth at the Gaylord Texan. It was so much fun loving on Jade, Anna, and Elizabeth without our kiddos...although we missed them a TON! We had a great refreshing weekend...maybe next time we are in Dallas for a game we will come back with a win:-)

North vs. High

We took the kids to the Norman High vs. Norman North football game last week. We ran into lots of friends along the way. We considered not going into the game, but the boys INSISTED! They wouldn't allow me and Ella in with our stroller so the boys went and watched for a little bit. Earlier in the day I asked them who they would cheer for and Haynes chose the tigers (not surprised) and Port chose the T-Wolves. After watching the game with Dad, they both came out growling like tigers....
Go T-Wolves (they actually did win!)

Orange Tree

I had to go to Edmond the other day for some errands. My mom came with me and since Haynes and Ella were so patient we took them to Orange Tree. It's a new yogurt place that they will be opening in Norman soon! Haynes LOVED his and Ella got to eat some fruit!:-)

Back to School Crab Broil!

Tonight we had a Back-To-School Crab Broil We encouraged the students from our House Church to bring any friends they wanted to share a meal together and show how we do community. It was AMAZING! The food was super yummy and we had a ton of students show up! The boys helped me make muffins and key lime pies, but Port was not sure about the seafood smell:-)

Fun Family NIght

Our little baseball player
We love playing chase!
Sweet Ella Rose!

We love doing anything outside right now! Our boys are LOVING playing baseball right now! Ella loves riding her little pink car Lolli and Champ bought her.

Soccer Game #2

Cousins with Bryce

Port and Whitney

The SpiderMonkies did great! I think the highlight of my morning was when Port spotted Whitney on the sidelines and ran off the field to hug her. He immediately ran back on the field!!! Port (our whole family) sure does love Whitney!

Gingerbread Giants!

Waiting in the Gingerbread Drop-off Lane
First Day of School Picture

Port is a Giant at Gingerbread Preschool, and he LOVES it! I can't begin to tell you how many times in the last month he has asked when school starts again. I am so thankful that he loves it so much. Brian and I left a parent meeting a few weeks ago and we both agreed we would love to go to school there too! One of the most exciting things for Port is that Braxton, Sutton, and Dax are in his class too! As I dropped him off on his first day, I just had to laugh at how good God is...I am so thankful these 4 men of God get to go to school together this year!!!

First Soccer Game

Port scored his first goal
and was so excited that he grabbed his cousins
and hugged them to celebrate!
Celebration treats!
Sweet Catherine came to watch Port's first game!
Haynes really DOES NOT understand why he can't play...

Port had his first soccer game this fall. I'm not sure if he loves soccer or his cousins more:-) It has been so much fun watching "the three/four musketeers" improve from last season. Port scored 3 goals in his first game! Go SpiderMonkies!
