Happy Birthday Kooper!

Kooper is 8!!
Kooper celebrated with a huge party! They started with games...this is a picture of them choosing teams.
After games, food, everyone headed to the pool. I mean that EVERYONE headed to the pool, it was crazy! We paused the fun playing to sing happy birthday and pray over Kooper.
The party ended with a pinata! Everyone was super excited, but we had to make a few adjustments because of the large crowd:-) This is Kooper getting the last hit in before everyone broke into the candy!

Kooper we ABSOLUTELY love you! Every single one of our kids absolutely adore you. Ella has been singing "Happy Birthday to Kooper" for weeks. Port and Haynes were super sweet talking about all the reasons that they love their cousin Kooper. We love the mighty man of God that you are becoming! I remember waiting for you to be born and being so excited (my excitement didn't even compare to BriBri's) We love you so much!
Happy 8th Birthday!
8 is going to be great!!

Fun with Daddy

Just when I think the kids are headed to bed, Brian usually comes up with something hilarious that keeps them up another 30 minutes or so! This night me, Port and Brian were sitting on the couch. Haynes would run full speed to try and get through Brian's legs! He would completely dive through his legs. This picture is of him doing his new things...He blows/spits on each hand and then rubs them together and takes off! (I have no idea where he got this idea, but it is HILARIOUS!!)
Then somehow Brian turns it into Haynes is a skunk. This is a picture of Haynes spraying us on the couch, he couldn't hardly stand he was laughing so hard!
Then again who wouldn't be laughing with these two on the couch responding to the spraying of the skunk!!! Love these guys!!!

Bedtime stories

We LOVE reading together, can you tell that they just fight to get as close to you as possible. Every night we read from our bible and pray that story over our kids. It's so fun to watch them holding their hands out to receive even before the story is over!

Team Hartsock

We showed up for our t-ball game and quickly realized that we only had 3 players! Haynes dream come true!!! We recruited Haynes (his baseball debut) and a few of the other team's players:-)
Port has really LOVED t-ball this summer. It has been so fun to watch him improve each week!!!
Haynes got to bat last each time, so he hit a homerun each time!!!
Haynes didn't quite understand the field...he managed to touch every ball hit (no matter where it was hit!) We definitely gave Haynes the hustle award at the end of the game:-)

Daddy-Daughter Date

Brian took Ella on their first date night to get ice cream the other night. He took her to get "ice cream" from Orange Leaf. She came home with her dress completely covered, so I will judge that it was a complete success. Ella LOVES sweets as much as her mommy does:-) I laugh at how many mornings right after breakfast she will look at me and say "ice cream?!?" Daddy made the perfect choice for their first date.

Games

My kids LOVE playing games! This little monkey game is by far one of their favorites. The point of the game is to hang as many monkeys from the tree without it falling down. The funny thing is that Ella really likes the game too...but she just destroys it every time she plays! I got this picture the other day of Lolli trying to help her play with the boys, I personally think she enjoys making the tree fall every time she touches it:-)

Best Buddies

We invited Dax and Crew to come swim at Lolli and Champ's house this week. Usually we have little ones that come swim, so Port was SO excited to have Dax to swim with! Actually when Dax left, Port got out of the pool and was ready for naptime about an hour early! Love you guys!
