Sweet Princes in her tutu!
Bouncing at her party!

Ella's cake table...a little much:-)

I just had to put up some of the pictures from her cute party. We had a pink roses theme...Ella Rose. Thanks to my mom we could get a great deal on roses so they were EVERYWHERE! It is so much fun doing things in pink:-)

Ella's First Birthday!

We had to wake our princess up on her birthday!
The boys and their princess!
Pink pancakes for the birthday girl!

Ella Rose is one year old! I can't believe a year has already gone by this quickly. It's crazy to think that a year ago we didn't even picture our family with a little girl. God has brought such joy to our family through you sweet girl. We pray continued joy over you as you grow this next year!
Ella is our little sleeper right now, so we had to wake her up so she could do some birthday with her daddy before he went to work. We all went in singing to her and she never budged:-) The boys LOVED helping her open gifts and she LOVED the pink pancakes.

Going to the zoo with Daddy!

Gingerbread took a field trip on Thursday to the zoo! Last year Brian went with Port and Port has been so excited to go to the zoo with Daddy again! We've been talking about it so much that Haynes has started saying he is going to the zoo with daddy...uh oh!! Brian and Port had a great time and had beautiful weather. They had so much fun they forgot to take a picture together. Field trips with daddy are the best!

Prayer Furnace

Our church has started a "Prayer Furnace." Each house church is responsible for hosting a time of prayer for the church of Norman each week at the office. Our house church, Doulos, meets on Monday nights at 8:00 p.m. We have decided to bring our kids and stay as long as we can. I must admit that I expected our first week to last about 15 minutes, so we were pleasantly surprised when we lasted 45 minutes! The kids were drawing on the boards and Port came and pulled on Brian's shorts. He said, "Daddy! Jesus just said, 'DALE! DALE! I love your picture!" Isn't God so good! (He would refer to Port as Dale, because Port corrects almost anyone that he would like to be referred to as Dale?!?) As we were leaving I saw one of our students bent down praying with Port. I thought "B" was praying for Port, but when we left Port said Jesus told him to pray for B!" God is SO GOOD!

September Birthday Parties!

Millie Jean turned 2!
Blakely Blair turned 1!
Lilly turns 4!

Last weekend was full of fun birthday parties!
One of Port's sweet friends from school had a birthday party at a dog training school. The kids got to watch two dogs run the obstacle course and then they did the same. The kids had a great time. When I asked Port what Lily would like for her birthday, he quickly responded that he knew exactly what she would like...very observant little boy:-)
Next we quickly drove to Edmond to celebrate Blakely's first birthday. Blakely and Ella are two days apart so we expect them to be great friends as they continue to grow. Bailey had planned the best party, our boys LOVED it!
We were so sad that we missed Millie's birthday dinner. We love you Millie!

Soccer Games

Port, Asher, Ella and Brooke
Wags, Port, and Alex
Port and G

The last few weeks have flown by! Port and his friends have really started to get the idea of soccer and are doing great! We have lost count on his goals, but he definitely remembers that he gets a treat at the end of the game each week when he scores:-) Thanks for all our friends and family supporting him this year! We have one more game next week!!
