Happy 1st Birthday Izzy!!

Rick and Peggy have a GREAT slide!
Haynes preferred this one...seriously!!!
Josh and Jenny came up with a new fun game to see how far the boys could jump!!
Ella loved singing "Happy Birthday" to sweet Izzy! Izzy wasn't crazy about her cake, but we promised Heather in time she would love sweets:-)
Brian had a boys weekend with his friend Deluca, so we went to my cousin Heather's sweet little girl's first birthday party. They had a fun pool party and we had a great time! I think Champ may be looking for a slide for next summer:-) Happy Birthday Izzy!

Little River Zoo

I took the kids to the Little River Zoo one afternoon because the weather has been absolutely AMAZING! This is where we started our tour with the turtles. Our guide's name was Sarah and my kids fell in love with her.
We had to leave the group at one point to take a bathroom break. We tried to find our way back to our group and accidently snuck up on the mountain lion cage. This animal came CHARGING at the boys and pounced on the cage. I'm not sure who screamed the loudest!!! Once we found the group Sarah tried to tell us that he just wanted to play, but I will be much more careful walking at the lake after seeing that!!!
Feeding the Kangeroos
yep...Ella did try the Kangeroo bread a few times:-)
This is the baby porcupine...the kids had a great time. My only complaint is that when we got home I found 5 ticks on myself...probably my worst nightmare! Gross!!!

Marble Jar Date NIght

Port filled his marble jar and got to plan a date night with Mommy and Daddy. He chose dinner with us at Qdoba and "Ramona and Beezus" the movie. He was SO excited! The minute he woke up from his nap he hand dialed Brian to find out how long until he got home. It was the sweetest thing I have EVER seen!
We went to the Dollar Theater and got popcorn, a large coke, fruit snacks, hot tamales, and nerds!!! When we walked in Port decided he wanted to sit in Brian's lap for the whole movie, pretty great cuddle time for Daddy. The movie was really cute and Port had a great time. I just ABSOLUTELY love when we get fun nights like that with our kids individually! Love you Port Robert! We are really proud of how faithful you have been in the little things!!

Crab Broil Family Night

We got a margarita machine for the party!
(Everyone LOVED this, especially the kids. They were disappointed to find out that it had to go back the next day)
Dinner...
shrimp, crab, potatoes, corn, and beer bread
Ella wore most of her slush!
The boys trying crab...Haynes liked it, but not Port:-)

We had a great family night! In fact it was so much fun that I didn't take any other pictures. This really might be one of my favorite/easiest parties we throw! Can't wait for the next one!

Sunday Morning

We had a really peaceful Sunday morning around the house before Celebration last week. The kids were playing in the backyard and trying not to let us what they were doing. Brian and I were spying through the blinds, and then I looked over and say him taking pictures out the window. Aren't we such great detectives!?!?

Happy Birthday Isaiah!

We celebrated Isaiah's 3rd birthday at Andrew's Park and the splash pad last week. The kids had the BEST time and so did we with all our fun friends! This is the only picture I got of Isaiah and Ella running through the water. Port, Haynes, and Beau buddied up at the end of the night but wouldn't let us get a picture of that. We love you Isaiah and look forward to such a fun year together!

Car Conversations

The boys have started trading off who gets to sit by Ella lately. Ella insists on holding hands with Port when he sits next to her. The boys request stories about "when they were a baby" EVERY TIME we get in the car!! Love these kiddos!
