Haynes Show & Tell

Haynes got to bring Show & Tell and snack last week. Ella and I decided to go watch Haynes share and we had a blast. When we got there Haynes couldn't wait to show Ella all the animals...these are the rats!
When it was time to come in and do Show & Tell, Haynes was patiently waiting for his class in the chair! He did a great job describing his toys. I loved watching him pick Beau (almost every time to pick)! Port decided to sneak in and watch Haynes too! (It was one of the sweetest things watching Port sneak in and make sure that it was "Haynes Day!")

*We also sent pumpkin muffins (haynes' favorite). I stayed up late making enough and Brian decided to sample. I warned him to wait until I finished putting the bags together...about 1:00 a.m. I realized that I was 3 muffins short!!! Needless to say...I got up early and made another batch. We had pumpkin muffins for about 3 mornings last week!

Happy Birthday Sadie!

Sweet Sadie had a fun skating birthday party, and my kids were so excited! We have never been skating before, but I was pretty impressed with my kids and Brian:-)
Port really enjoyed it, Haynes was done pretty quickly, and Ella loved running around without shoes on!
My kids LOVE Sadie!
Ella was like her little shadow most of the night.
We love you sweet Sadie! Pray that this year would be the best yet!!!
happy 4th birthday!

Ella Bella

Ella is stepping into her little personality more every day. We are loving it!!! We went to pick up the boys from school and Ella decided she needed to wear her high heels. She was so proud and couldn't wait to show the boys:-)

Games...

Our kids are really loving playing games. We got a fun new game at Chick-fil-a, so I told Port we would play it at dinner that night. We had a gift card to go to dinner, but when we showed up the restaurant was closed on Mondays! We got creative and went to have sandwiches instead. Port didn't forget about my promise to play the game, so we sat in the restaurant for another 30 minutes playing games. The kids were so funny because they loved it! (The game is a lot like apples to apples for kids) I love fun family nights!

OU vs. OSU

We decided to stay home and watch the game. When we throw football parties, usually we end up losing...so we decided to just go to my parents to watch the game. It worked out great for us since my mom cooked and the kids played. Josh and Jenny brought some friends, so the kids were even more excited! We decided that's the way to watch away games for now on:-)
Thanks Mom!

Setting up the tree

Getting things out has been so much fun this year, because we have so many little helpers. These little guys climbed up in the attic to help dad too! Haynes decided that he liked to fluff the tree from the bottom up...so he just layed under it:-)
We finally got it all put together! I love this picture of Haynes...this is a classic face of our crazy little kid!

Christmas light helpers

We LOVE christmas lights! I like for them to be ready to go Thanksgiving night so we can enjoy them even a little longer. I'm super thankful for my amazing husband who not only goes along with me, but gets into the spirit as well! This year Brian decided that he wanted to do something a little different with our tree. I had lots of questions about his idea...so I was asked to not help:-) Well...he got some different helpers instead! Needless to say, our tree and house look beautiful. Every time we drive up our kids say, "Our house looks the BEST!"
*I absolutely LOVE this picture of Ella! She makes the funniest faces that we rarely catch on a camera, so this one is perfect!
