Happy 7th Anniversary!

Brian and I took a weekend getaway to Dallas for our anniversary this year. We had a wonderful trip! Anytime I can get away with just my sweet husband I will take it. He loves me extravagantly always! I feel blessed to have been married to him for the past 7 years. God just continues to grow my love for this man of God. I love you babe!
Monday was our actual anniversary, so we celebrated a little different this year. Catherine has been staying with us all week and we have LOVED it! We took Catherine and Katelin to dinner and then met Kristin at Orange Leaf for dessert. I spent parts of our day talking to the kids about how important our wedding anniversary is to our family. We looked through our wedding albums and then each year we show our kids a "quick" video of our wedding. We want our kids to know that our family started on our wedding day and it's the day that we committed to be together for the rest of our lives. I love you Bri!

Campus Night Outreach

We met for dinner on campus and then went to hang out. It was pretty muddy and then started to rain so we just embraced it! We brought a frisbee and the boys started playing...it quickly turned into a mud fight once Jake showed up. I mean Jake is just AMAZING! He just jumped right in and ran with it...the boys LOVED it!
We lost our pants pretty early in the evening as you can tell...they kept saying they were hitting Jake with snow balls:-)
The girls pretending to play frisbee...
As the guys started playing frisbee people kept just showing up and joining in...it was AMAZING! Port loved it and jumped right in...this is him throwing to his team mate.
Asher and Ella found some water puddles to entertain themselves with for a little bit.
Well....after getting amazingly muddy we had to get cleaned up! Haynes got in the fountain and of course Ella wanted in too. It looked like it was going to be too deep for me to feel comfortable with her to walk in, but I let her get in any way. Literally a minute later I see her trip and go under, so I jumped the wall and ended up in the fountain too!
After the boys finished frisbee they joined the kids in the fountain too! Yes...we've heard it's illegal to swim in the fountains but we took a chance. We definitely made a memory!

Haynes is potty trained!

Literally...one year ago we had Haynes potty party! About a week ago I just decided that he knew what he was doing, just needed a little push....so we took diapers off and replaced them with undies. We had a few accidents to start with, have gone through lots of gum balls, and are now doing AWESOME! Brian and I went to Dallas for our anniversary last weekend and my mom would send me pictures of Haynes after going potty. His little face just lights up...he's just absolutely precious! The other thing that I decided about Haynes is that while he enjoys treats (I mean who doesn't...), he mostly receives quality time as his love language. So we would tell him if he could make it a whole day without an accident he could have a date with Daddy! That worked great and he got a few special dates with Lolli and Champ while we were gone. I sure do love learning all the fun things about each of my kiddos! We love you Hayners...Duders!

*Haynes has also been saying, "Don't laugh...I'm not funny!" I've tried explaining that people love being funny and making people laugh, but he hasn't bought it. He will say the funniest thing and then get so upset that we are laughing which only makes it worst. :-)

Market

My mom and I went to market for the day. One of our sweet friend's Kristin watched the kids for me all day. Ella got to go to school and be picked up by Champ, Port got a play date with Dax, and Laura brought sweet Alex over for fun too! Then the kids got a night with Daddy and this is the picture he sent me...snocones in the back of the truck. My mom and I had a great time and so did the kids. Thanks for all the help Kristin, Champ, Angie, and Bri!

Haircuts with Daddy

Cheese!
Haynes doesn't look too sure about this...

Brian took the boys with him when he got his hair cut the other night. He sends me a text saying, "Port's getting his hair cut." I thought he was cutting all his hair off...so we were surprised to see Port with just a normal trim when he arrived home. Miss Michelle washed their hair like Daddy and they thought they were pretty cool.

Swimming with the Billingsley's

Ella and Beau eating popsicles
...even sweet Annie got a bite!

The Billingsley's invited us over for lunch and swimming when we got home from Lebanon. We just absolutely LOVE them! Our kids play together amazingly well, so we stayed way past naptime but sometimes it's just worth it:-) These were the only pictures that I remembered to take from our day together, but we plan to have many more dates like this!

Happy Father's Day!

I love wrapping gifts but I decided to let the kids have a little more part in wrapping this time. This is Champ's gift that Port wrote "Happy Father's Day Champ Port Haynes Ella" See if you can find all these words...I was pretty impressed!
I took the kids to J.Crew to pick out Daddy a few fun things. I told them they could each pick one item and they actually did a great job! Then we came home and they got to decide if they wanted to decorate the box or a paper to tape to the box. This is a picture of Port's Father's day gift!
Good Morning Daddy!
We let Brian sleep in a little bit on Father's Day, but the boys were really excited to wake him up. On my gift I wrote some of the different things that we love about Brian. Words just can't describe how much we love this guy, he is REALLY the best daddy we know. All three of our kids are loved extravagantly by him.
Happy Birthday Champ!
My dad's birthday was the same day as Father's Day. We all surprised him for breakfast at Ozzie's. I'm not sure who liked it best Champ, Brian, or the boys! After breakfast all the boys went out for a round of golf. Champ, Brian, Josh, Port, and Haynes had a great time golfing together. We spent the rest of the day relaxing at home and enjoying our family.
We headed back to Lolli & Champ's for dinner to celebrate Father's Day (can you tell that we are not shy in celebrations...) Lolli bought all the boys marshmallow bow & arrows and it was a hit! Ella really loved eating the ammo after it dropped:-)
We ended our night with birthday cake... Ella's favorite part was singing "Happy Birthday!" She has a few favorite songs lately, but "Happy Birthday" is definitely one of them. We love you Champ! My kids are beyond blessed by you, thanks for loving them so extravagantly! Happy Birthday!!!
